Our Home Dressed for The Holidays

I love our home at Christmas time. I’ve always been an early decorator (since having all of my babies due around the holidays, it was nice to have it done before we brought a brand new baby home) but this year, I honestly wasn’t feeling it too early on. I pulled everything out in early November to get going on it, but it felt more like a chore than a ritual I could enjoy. I told myself that next year I will start when I feel like it – and not feel rushed for any reason. That aside, our home draped in greenery and lights is my favorite version, so I’ve been thoroughly enjoying all the extra beauty the past few weeks. We moved into this house shortly after Christmas and I have fond memories of our first days here with the house blanked in snow while we huddled inside, warmed by our century old radiators. Christmas comes with a lot of nostalgia for me now that I truly cherish.

I started to decorate this year with all of my saved decor, and have slowly been putting some of it back in boxes. This year I craved more greenery, lights, warm textures and less clutter. If you popped over to our house today – this is exactly what you would find. I hope you love taking a little tour around our home dressed for the holidays!
