The Christmas season is my favorite time of year — especially for our home. When all draped in greenery & wreathes our house feels the most quaint and cozy. Every Christmas season since we’ve been married Ty and I have either been very busy planning church services or having babies (or both!), so we typically get decorating early – usually mid-November – to get a leg up on things. I’ve always kept the decorating to the tree & the occasional garland or wreath, but this year I decided to move from room to room and add a little bit of Christmas everywhere. Now I’m hooked! I just love how our home feels with touches of greenery, dried oranges, layered ribbons & my growing collection of trees sprinkled everywhere.
I’ve collected a few Christmas decorations here and there over the past 10 years from antique stores, Target, HomeGoods, Pottery Barn, McGee & Co. and local shops. I love doing seasonal decorating this way because it keeps things from feeling too theme-y and also prevents overspending during the Christmas season. Take your time and buy a few things each year that you truly love, and over time you’ll find that you’ll have a Christmas collection that truly reflects you.
Now that December is here, I’m so looking forward to hosting family and friends, making sweet memories with our kids & living in gratitude for the hope we have beyond this life thanks to Jesus’ birth. I hope you’re able to do the same this Christmas. On that note, welcome into our home!

Lauren this is the most stunning holiday tour. Every detail is so thoughtful and I can only imagine how much time you took styling everything to perfection. Thank you for sharing it with us!

It looks SO great! I’m always worried that the house will look cluttered if I decorate throughout but what you’ve done still looks clean but still so cozy. I’m convinced 😉
