There’s something about a perfect plate, vase or mug splattered with shiny, high-contrast glaze that gets me every time. I think it’s the traditional nature of timeless ceramics paired with the sensibility of abstractness that we see in modern artwork. I love both of these worlds and when they collide it’s perfection in my eyes. Whether I’m making something myself (like this pink and blue vase) or sourcing vintage pieces (like this perfect fanned yellow vase or giant green splattered bowl) I can’t get enough.
