The thing I was most excited about this week was finding this vintage patterned sectional on Facebook Marketplace for $200. I just couldn’t pass it up! I immediately started dreaming of designing a room around it one day – can’t you just imagine it in a room with rich walls and layered patterns? Someday…
After living with open shelving in the kitchen for over a year, I’ve decided I will probably always have some kind of shelving – whether it be for dishes, cookbooks or special serving dishes – in my kitchen. I love easily reaching for plates or mugs when we need them and it definitely adds more personality and warmth than upper cabinets would.
I get asked often where we bought these shelves, and Ty actually made them; we needed a custom size and wanted to tie the brackets into the studs do that we knew could hold a good amount of weight. If you’re in the market for floating shelves, but don’t want to go fully custom, Shelfology is a great place to start:
I shared these little nightstands I ordered for our bedroom this week and you all loved them! They’re a pretty shape, come in a few different colors and are super affordable. Click the link to shop!
We’re slowing chipping away at our bathroom renovationvfor the One Room Challenge, and this week I worked on choosing paint colors for the vanity and trim. I’m still not 100% sure which color I want to go with, but I’m leaning toward the far left – Benjamin Moore Gray Husky. You can read about this week’s progress and get info on our vanity sconces from yesterdays post!
Madewell is having their 30% off $200 sale right now. I like to buy my denim and statement jackets & shoes from there, so this sale is always a great one to shop for investment pieces. I’m wanting to try their perfect vintage jeans along with my go-to black skinnies, and always have my eye on their winter coats:
Happy Friday, friends!
