I’m not huge into Halloween decor, but my kids really love it, so I like to find small ways to incorporate some spook during October. Two of the easiest things to get into the Halloween spirit: stick on bats and faux spider webs. You can use them anywhere – indoors or out!

This week we made big progress on the bathroom we’re doing for the One Room Challenge, and now we’re onto tile – one of my favorite things! If you missed it, you can read all about what we worked on this week + what’s next from this week’s ORC blog post linked below.

My closet is in need of a refresh – after a few years of having babies and not buying much, it’s time to update a few staples. I had my eye on this puffer last year but didn’t buy it because of being 9 months pregnant, so I was really excited to see they still carried it this year. The color is so pretty, the faux leather is super soft and the cropped cut hits at your waist for a really flattering look. Highly recommend.

Speaking of updating a few closet staples, I am in need of an everyday bag that I can wear while I run errands or go on walks with the kids. I am really into the sling bag look and am also loving the woven leather details we’re seeing pop up in fashion – combining the two is a combo I’m especially into. I also linked a few other woven handbags that caught my eye!
