LATELY

This week I added peel & stick grasscloth wallpaper to our built-in’s and I love the result! This paper was super easy to install, affordable (about $20 per roll) and very closely resembles actual grass cloth. You can read about how I installed it and shop the exact paper I used in the post below.

If you haven’t noticed, coffee is a big deal in our house. We use multiple brewing methods that we prefer for different reasons (I’m thinking a blog post is in order!) and my personal favorite is our espresso machine – I love a strong almond milk latte in the afternoon. We bought this machine 3+ years ago and it’s still going strong!

Recently many of us have invested back into our homes and adjusting the way we live by tweaking how we use rooms, taking on large remodel projects, doing those furniture updates that we’ve been putting off for years — the list goes on. Instagram and Pinterest can make it appear as though good design is immediate and effortless, but that’s rarely the case. Good design takes thoughtful work and time. If you are looking for a little help or direction for a space in your home that needs a refresh or re-design, Virtual Design is an accessible and flexible option that gives you the starting point you need to achieve a beautifully designed space. It’s self-paced, based on your personal budget (no matter how big or small) and is the biggest piece in your design puzzle.

If you’re interested in Virtual Design or have questions, fill out a form below. I’d love to work with you!

VIRTUAL DESIGN REQUEST

We have a house boat trip coming up in September so I’m taking advantage of the end of summer sales and shopping for new swimsuits. It’s always an experiment buying swimsuits (especially after having a baby not long ago) so I’m ordering a bunch to try out and hoping a few of these become fast favorites!

Happy Friday!

Come with me as I work on giving Cohen’s room a Come with me as I work on giving Cohen’s room a little refresh! He was in need of a nice, flat weave rug (because Legos) and I was really excited to get this Henley rug by @loloirugs x @joannagaines @magnolia from their latest collab. I have these rugs all over my house because I seriously love them and they wear so well! More to come on this little room of his.

Uncover the back patio with me! After days of rain Uncover the back patio with me! After days of rain it’s time to let the furniture breathe a bit and open everything up to the sun. With part of our patio being pea gravel, the easiest way to get loose stones back where they belong is with our leaf blower - we recently topped it off with more gravel so it’s looking extra plush lately. You will find me here tonight pretending that it’s already the weekend 🥂

I rearranged the back patio a bit and I’m loving how it feels. Just a little reminder that it doesn’t take big bucks or an overhaul for something to feel fresh again!
