I’m a pillow lady through and through and I love adding new pillows to our furniture every so often to mix things up. Chair Update: we’re sticking with our Higgins Sling Arm Chairs in the front room! Although I love the look of these barrel back chairs, our kids too easily tipped them over when climbing all over our furniture like the little monkeys they are. However, they would be the perfect chair for the corner of a bedroom or quiet reading nook. Or in a house without monkeys.
As we enter into the longest-shortest month of the year (February in Ohio is a special kind of unpleasant) I find myself routinely closing my eyes and imagining the warmth and smells of new Spring air. We still have many weeks to go before the weather turns, so I’m keeping my spirits up by freshening things around our house and swapping my warm & cedar scented candles for one of my favorite affordable candles – it’s the perfect light scent without being overly floral.
