LATELY

I had this coffee and tea carafe/pour over sent to me and I really love it! It keeps my coffee so hot and I love that it has a basket for brewing tea or coffee. This would be a great gift for a friend who entertains!

I’m all about making small updates to your home for the changing seasons, and swapping out pillows & textiles is a great way to do just that. I love this plaid pillow I picked up from Target – I especially love the chunky texture it adds for falls and the $22 price tag. Follow the link below to shop!

I’ve been struggling to find the balance between masculine & feminine for our bedroom, but one thing I love is the raw texture and patina our bed side lamps give the room — the raw material of the concrete is the perfect balance to the light and airy bed frame.

School starts in just under a week so we have been trying to soak up as much of what’s left of summer as we can. This stage of life is so busy for us, it’s easy to get lost in the day-to-day of taking care of basic things and not make time to have fun. Plus, our two older kids are getting to an age where they love to try new things and see new places – I love it. Here’s to making the most of the last bits of summer and spending as much time outside as we can.

Until next week!

XO —

This is probably the prettiest room in our house. This is probably the prettiest room in our house. And I *may* or may not sit in here sometimes to hide for a moment of peace 😅

I rearranged the back patio a bit and I’m loving how it feels. Just a little reminder that it doesn’t take big bucks or an overhaul for something to feel fresh again!

There is a beauty and ease that comes with life by There is a beauty and ease that comes with life by the sea, whether it be on northern or southern shores. Seashells are a quintessential beauty that are worn by living creatures, eventually discarded for us to enjoy or broken down to become one with the earth. They’re a reminder of the beauty of life and how powerful nature can be. And because of that, I think they’re a perfect addition to any room – no matter where you live!

We started planning and renovating this space abou We started planning and renovating this space about two years ago and I have a few takeaways now that we’ve lived with it:
- so glad we fit as much shelving into this space as possible
- storing our microwave in here is 👌
- I toyed with the idea of adding an ice maker in here…kinda wish I would have
- the wallpaper was the best splurge
- removing walls isn’t always the answer (we split a hallway in two to create this space)

You can read all about this project on the blog! Link in bio 🫶
