How is it already nearing the end of May? We’ve had a full few months over here and I am so excited that next week school will be out, we have less on our calendar and many more reasons to enjoy these long summer days.
In design-related news, I still don’t have all of my dining chairs in here, drapery is yet to ship and I have a half-finished cabinet in the other corner. But it’s hard to care when all of my days have been spent outside lately ☀️

Our @wallpops peel & stick grass cloth is still go

Our @wallpops peel & stick grass cloth is still going strong a year after installation! A few common questions I get about it:
1. Yes, it takes a bit to get the hang of installing peel and stick wallpaper. It’s like working with a giant sticker. You can do it by yourself, but it’s much easier to do with a partner. Plan on spending time figuring out your process and don’t rush it!
2. This room took 11-ish rolls to cover the room. Alternate the panels (flipping every other one upside down) so the pattern doesn’t look too match-y and more like real grass cloth.
3. This is the “Neutral” color way. Purchased on @amazon
4. We have textured, plaster walls and it still looks great (the variation in the paper really helps hide imperfections in the plaster)

A bright kitchen this morning after the fresh snow this week. I love this view because you get a peek of how the pantry and kitchen play off of each other.

WIP: the tv den light went up last night - the Goo

WIP: the tv den light went up last night - the Goodman pendant from @visualcomfort - and it’s so beautiful. For more details on where I’m headed with this space, I wrote a quick post on the blog + sources for everything.
Light details: this is the Large in brass/bronze and our ceilings are 9.5’-ish high. Me for scale 🙃

Yesterday I shared in stories that I’ve deemed this year the year of really “finishing” each room in our house. I’ve tweaked and made small changes to each room over time (like many of us do) but now I’m ready to look at each space as a clean slate and with an open mind. First up: the tv den. Painting is happening today!
